For those interested, nodecomment.module has been getting some porting attention. The DRUPAL-6--1 branch has been created and a development snapshot should be available soon. Please give it a try if you're interested and give some feedback.

Views 2 integration
Views 2 has a sweet new UI and is much more class/method based now. As such, it took me a little longer to get back into OOP PHP programming since I've been doing Drupal and therefore procedural programming for the last three years. But with a little help from Earl and some time I was able to create a nice Views style plugin that allows for the threaded view. A default threaded view ships with the module.
